Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a busy and well-established builders merchants in Darlington. This is a long-term role with immediate start available.


You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of building materials to both trade and residential customers, ensuring excellent service and safe handling at all times.


Key Responsibilities for Class 2 HIAB Driver

  • Safe and timely delivery of building materials using a HIAB vehicle

  • Operating HIAB crane (grab or hook) to load and unload goods

  • Conducting daily vehicle safety checks

  • Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately

  • Adhering to all driving and health & safety regulations
