Job Description
Drive success as a Class 1 Self-Loader Driver in Kimberley, British Columbia. Safely operate vehicles transporting scrap metal and recyclables while ensuring compliance with all regulations and procedures.
This full-time role, Monday to Friday, requires a valid Class 1 Driver's License and experience with self-loader trucks. You'll be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials while maintaining safety standards and effective communication with dispatch and clients. Prior experience with scrap metal or construction materials is an asset, along with a strong mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Class 1 vehicle for material transportation
• Efficiently load/unload materials using self-loader
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report issues
• Secure loads per regulations and company procedures
• Complete electronic logs and documentation accurately
