About the role
Claims Analyst I reports to the Personal Lines Claims manager.
- Review of claims (Pending list)
- Adjustment of electronic equipment claims (prepare adjustment, quote similar equipment, request requirements and collect agreement signatures)
- Payment to insured, payment to suppliers, notes in claims system SISE
- Adjustment of reserves, filing in statutory electronic repository
- Request and review AML requirements
- Registration of bank accounts (registration of folios)
- Preparation and distribution of non‑appropriate claim rejection letters
- Preparation of claim notice to UW team, interaction with SIU
- Record of recoveries in claims system
- Record of non‑cash recoveries made in favor of insured
- Closing of reserves
- Monitoring of claims assigned to independent adjusters when retained (review of reports, adjustments of reserves)
