Our client in Cabo delgado is looking for a Chief Security Officer to join their team within the Mining Sector.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate security strategy aligned with business objectives

  • Advise executive leadership on security risks, threats, and mitigation plans

  • Conduct regular threat and vulnerability assessments (physical and operational)

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for site security

  • Lead internal investigations related to theft, fraud, misconduct, and security breaches

  • Develop and implement emergency response and crisis management plans

  • Manage security-related contracts and vendor performance

  • Build strong relationships with local communities, government authorities, and regulatory bodies
