Seaspan Marine is seeking a Chief Master for its tug operations. This role demands high-level decision-making and proactive incident management to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance. You will oversee all crew activities, ensuring they understand and adhere to policies while fostering teamwork and communication on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational policies
- Take control during vessels' incidents and emergencies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and engineering teams
- Conduct hazard assessments prior to tasks
- Facilitate crew training and orientation
Requirements:
- Master 3000 Domestic certification or higher
- 2+ years as officer in charge on ASD tugs
