Drive engineering excellence as a Chief Engineer with a Leading Marine Services company in Kitimat, British Columbia. This position focuses on managing maintenance, safety protocols, and the development of junior staff within a complex maritime environment.
The Chief Engineer will lead engineering operations, oversee preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and environmental policies. You'll manage machinery spaces, troubleshoot breakdowns, and collaborate with the Shore Engineering Team to maintain operational readiness. Your role will also include mentoring junior engineers and conducting hazard assessments.
