As the administrative head of the Municipality, the C.A.O. is responsible for providing effective support and advice to the elected Reeve and Council within the framework of the Provincial, Federal legislation and the RM’s municipal by-laws. The CAO leads professional leadership and strategic direction for the management team of the Rural Municipality of North Cypress Langford, developing, implementing, and executing policies, strategies, and objectives approved by Council to address the immediate and long‑term needs of the Municipality. Vital to this role is the ongoing open communication and effective relationships between Council, administration, the province, local business, ratepayers, and the public.
This is an indefinite term position for up to one (1) year, with the possibility of extension based on operational needs and performance.
