Job Description
DAVITO NSW Pty Ltd are seeking qualified Chefs and Cooks to join our friendly team.
Your daily duties:
- Manage kitchen operations
- Plan and review menu, including contributing own recipes towards menu creation
- Determine serving size and use of different ingredients in accordance to budget and
ingredient availability
- Food and labour cost control
- Stock control
- Enforce the compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including
food storage and personal hygiene procedures
- Participate and direct kitchen staffs in the preparation of ingredient, sauces and
cooking stocks
- Cook speciality Chinese and South East Asian dishes as per customer orders and
special dietary requests
- Check the dishes prepared to monitor serving portions and consistency of the food
quality before serving
- Supervise and provide training to kitchen staff by demonstrating cook techniques
