Ensure all food is of excellent quality and served promptly. Plan the menu, keeping in mind the budget and availability of seasonal ingredients. Monitor all kitchen operations.
Coordinate kitchen staff and assist them when needed. Train staff to prepare and cook all menu items. Take inventory of ingredients and materials and place orders for stock replenishment.
Enforce safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Create new recipes to keep the menu fresh. Stick to industry trends.
Get feedback and make improvements if necessary. Requirements Culinary school diploma. Previous experience as a supervisor.
