Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Full-Time Chef with expertise in Western cuisine, particularly seafood, to join our team at The Elegance Seafood Bar & Grill, Davenport, Tasmania.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook high-quality meals for function bookings, catering orders, and walk-in customers.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety (WHS), and hygiene standards.
· Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff.
· Monitor food quality and presentation.
· Conduct stocktakes and assist with inventory management.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
Requirements:
· Minimum 1–2 years of relevant chef experience.
· Experience preparing Western cuisine with a focus on seafood is highly desirable.
· Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred.
