Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a passionate Executive Sous Chef to work with and assist in leading a high-energy, high-volume kitchen for a recognizable brand across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in managing daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervise activities of chefs, cooks and other kitchen staff; instruct and develop kitchen team members as needed.
- Ensure proper food quality, portion control and presentation; monitor safety and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with other restaurant operations to deliver consistent guest experiences.
Compensation
Salary: CA$85,000.00 yearly (typical range depending on experience and location).
