About the role

Reporting to the Supervisor – Development, the UG Charge-Up Operator is responsible for the safe and compliant charging of underground development headings. You will play a critical role in supporting the development and production cycle by operating charge cars, handling explosives safely, preparing headings for blasting, and ensuring compliance with all statutory and site safety requirements.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Operating charge cars safely and efficiently to complete development charging activities
• Handling, transporting and securing explosives in accordance with legislative and site requirements
• Charging development headings to design specifications and standards
