Job Description
Become a valuable part of the surgical team as a Certified Surgical Technologist at St Josephs Main and Children's. Use your expertise to ensure a sterile field and assist during procedures.
This full-time role requires a Certified Surgical Technologist to work under the supervision of an RN. You will prepare instruments, coordinate specimen handling, manage sterile supplies, and occasionally assist in patient transport. Your role is critical in maintaining the highest standards in surgical care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare operating room, instruments, and supplies
• Ensure a sterile field during procedures
• Assist with specimen coordination and disposal
• Manage inventory of sterile supplies
• Provide transport assistance to patients when needed
Requirements:
• Surgical Tech Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS Certification from AHA or Red Cross
