Certified Payroll Specialist
Pay: $30 - $40 hourly
Employment Type: Contract to hire
Position Summary:
The Certified Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, and supporting audits, reporting, and employee payroll inquiries. This role typically requires strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax withholding, garnishments, benefits deductions, and certified payroll reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
