**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our Certified Occupational Assistant (COTA), you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to implement customized treatment plans for patients.
Every day, you will help individuals rehabilitate, develop, or maintain the daily living and work skills necessary for independent functionality.
To be successful in this role, you will administer evidence based-based therapeutic activities and exercises outlined in the supervising OT's established evaluation and plan of care.
+ May supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as in-service coordinator.
+ Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and the ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, hospital departments and the general public.
