Role Overview

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will work in the Centre for Educational Development (CED). CED leads and supports the professional development of lecturers in Republic Polytechnic (RP), as well as staff from external organisations.

Responsibilities Academic Professional Development (APD)

• Contributes to/leads the design, development, and management of internal APD programmes and courses for academic staff, grounded in learner centred pedagogical/andragogical principles and evidence based teaching and learning (T&L) practices.
• Contributes to/oversees training quality, e.g., alignment of learning outcomes, suitability of assessments, and collection and analysis of pre and post training participant feedback etc.
• Works closely with CED colleagues, Schools/Centre, and academic leaders to identify professional learning needs and translate them into relevant APD offerings.
