Your challenge


  • Definition of strategic and operative actions for respective categories. Coordination of those measures and formulation in category strategy
  • Development and continuous improvement in the respective categories.
  • Active supplier management and supplier development 
  • Definition, negotiation and awarding of contracts with strategic suppliers.
  • Support of production plants, marketing, R&D, project- and technology category management concerning category relevant issues
  • Influencing the cost structure by early involvement in the product development process
  • Optimization of procurement processes focusing on the relevant materials in coordination with central functions, plants and suppliers
  • Explore, execute and report savings according to guidelines in Sharepoint and in cooperation with internal customers and suppliers 
  • Ability to manage complexity
