Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for Procurement & Category Management of IT Products (Cloud, Compute, Network, Security, Storage, Back-up, Software / Hardware, Professional Managed Services etc.) for Data center business

Role Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing complete PR to PO process including RFPs, obtaining offers, Comparative evaluations, Negotiations, Placement of Purchase Orders & Logistics.
  • Managing Category by Strategic sourcing, Budgeting, New Vendor developments, Vendor Rationalization, Rate Contracts, Partnership Agreements, Vendor Management etc.
  • Cost Effective Procurement within the budgeted cost / targets, Opex v/s Capex evaluation, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) evaluation.
  • Obtain approvals according to Delegation of Authority.
  • Ensuring TAT to adhere timely actions for PR to PO process.
