Job Description
Make a difference in patient care as a Phlebotomist in the Uxbridge area. This casual role involves specimen collection, patient interaction, and critical record-keeping.
This position requires you to greet patients, explain the specimen collection process, and perform various phlebotomy tasks. Working Monday to Saturday across multiple locations, you’ll also connect/disconnect holter monitors, manage documentation for specialized tests, and maintain essential client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and collect relevant information
• Perform phlebotomies and record ECG tracings
• Collect special test specimens and complete documentation
• Respond to client inquiries and follow up on requests
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing
Requirements:
• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy experience is an asset
• Excellent communication and computer skills
