Job Description

A cashier is responsible for processing customer transactions, handling money, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience in retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, or other establishments. Their tasks include scanning items, managing payments, providing receipts, and offering excellent customer service. Cashiers also maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and may assist with other store duties as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred, but entry-level candidates may receive training.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash is beneficial.

Skills
