Job Description
Become a key player as a Project Manager at Carmichael Engineering in Ottawa. This role emphasizes leadership in HVAC retrofit projects, focusing on coordination and execution.
In this full-time, on-site position, you will partner with the Lead Project Manager to oversee all phases of HVAC projects from planning through to close-out. You'll provide technical leadership while managing subcontractors and communicating with clients to ensure project success. Your ability to balance multiple projects and maintain budget oversight will be key in achieving desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project execution and resource planning
• Assist in material procurement and logistics
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure alignment
• Participate in site meetings and status checks
• Monitor budgets and profitability metrics
Requirements:
• 5-8 years in HVAC or construction project management
• Relevant educational background in HVAC or mechanical systems
