This full-time position focuses on assisting immigrants and refugees in securing meaningful employment in Newfoundland and Labrador. Reporting to the Manager of Employment Services, you will coordinate training programs and facilitate labour market engagement for newcomer clients. Your role will aim to expand access to employment resources and services within the Western NL region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients’ education and employment for successful job placement
• Develop relationships with employers and plan targeted employment strategies
• Coordinate a job matching program for clients and employers
• Deliver pre-employment training and job readiness programs
• Maintain updated resources for career and entrepreneurial support
