Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Colonia Court Care Home, St Andrews Avenue, Colchester CO4 3AN
CQC rating: Good, Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.7 / 10
Salary: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, Hours: Full-time (Night shifts, including alternate weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
- Observe and manage residents' behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
- Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
- Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
- Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.
