Job Description
Step into our Cheswick facility and picture your day: you begin by partnering with design engineers to release a new product, reviewing drawings for manufacturability and accuracy. You map out machining strategies, choose the right tools, and generate precise NC code in Mastercam and, when needed, Siemens NX. As the shop hums, you analyze workflows, equipment load, and labor standards to streamline operations, trim unit costs, and support engineering change evaluations. Throughout the day, you serve as a technical bridge—coordinating with program management, finance, quality, procurement, inspection, and production to keep everything moving.
Later, you help assess a new machine-tool acquisition, contribute to tooling libraries, and mentor operator-programmers so great ideas become great parts—repeatably and safely. You also maintain rigorous revision control and security of NC files in line with ...
