Convergint is seeking a CAD Technician & Document Controller to enhance our Halifax team. Ideal candidates will handle technical documentation and support project delivery in a collaborative environment.
This role requires a blend of strong documentation skills and technical understanding, working closely with project managers and engineering teams. You’ll be responsible for developing technical documentation, performing field verifications, and assisting in testing and commissioning activities. Your growth potential includes advancing to a Technical Project Coordinator position with mentorship from experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for projects
• Verify equipment installations and device locations
• Organize project folders and drawings effectively
• Assist project managers with schedule updates
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on field progress
