Applicants must have the following requirements: a Bachelor of Technology Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; at least 5 years of experience in the medium‑to‑heavy‑engineering industry within a jobbing environment; previous experience in project engineering/management in a manufacturing environment; a sound technical background of all aspects of the contracting process and technical manufacturing requirements; knowledge of commercial, contractual, and financial matters (budget and schedule control); knowledge of manufacturing requirements for different materials, such as Mild Steel vs Stainless Steel.
