JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Buyer for a leading global manufacturer in Windsor, Ontario. The Buyer will report directly to the Plant Manager and be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating costs, supporting new product launches, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services. This individual will play a key role in driving cost reduction initiatives, supplier development, and sourcing strategies while collaborating with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Global Purchasing teams.
• Manage RFQ processes and commodity purchasing activities for new and existing products.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and supplier agreements to secure optimal cost, quality, and service.
• Identify and execute annual cost reduction opportunities through supplier negotiations and VAVE initiatives.
