Buyer Planner AssociateUnder minimal supervision and in accordance with Cummins Delegation of Authority, determines the quantity and order date for materials needed to support complex business processes such as supersessions, new product launches, campaigns, HAZMAT, No Source, dual source, and E&O.Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)Reports any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations.Engages in HSE training.QualityFollows applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.Performs quality checks on material planning master data (lead time, order quantities, etc.) taking action to support Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
