Job Description
Sports Direct Malaysia is looking for a Buyer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and select compelling assortments within your assigned categories / activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our brand partners.
- Sales performance tracking for selected category assigned and take proactive action on underperforming products through markdowns, or promotions, and over performing products through daily business.
- Monitor and ensure on‑time delivery of stocks from suppliers.
- Monitor weekly trade performance and stock health; and sell‑through targets by category and brand.
- Identify white space opportunities and drive product innovation.
- Negotiate cost prices, margin improvements, trading terms, and exclusivity opportunities with our brand partners.
- Code creation, issue PO & update Delivery Plan to make sure the systems are always up to date.
