Job Summary:
The Buyer Lead is responsible for partnering with the Events Management team on outage demand planning and fulfillment for a specific region, sub-region or country. Manages all Sourcing activities with both internal and external stakeholders including the vendor selection process from the existing supply chain, negotiating pricing structures with new suppliers as needed, applying our standard terms and conditions for moderate to complex purchase orders/contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and participating in ongoing vendor management as well as supply chain performance improvements. Ensures compliance with purchasing procedures and policies by reviewing and analyzing purchase requisitions for completeness and information accuracy, soliciting bids from the approved vendor list (AVL), creating purchase orders, and working with vendors to ensure all invoices are paid.
