Job Description
Work with Conair as a Buyer, playing a crucial part in our aerial firefighting operations. Your role will focus on efficiently procuring the necessary materials and services for our aircraft fleet.
As an essential member of Conair's procurement team, you will take charge of vendor communications, purchase orders, and sourcing efforts while ensuring that all parts are received in a timely manner. This role requires effective multitasking and the ability to manage challenging situations while maintaining relationships within the industry and with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Launch RFPs and gather purchase quotations
• Analyze and negotiate vendor quotes for best pricing
• Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders in multiple databases
• Manage supplier communications and claims resolution
• Collaborate with Engineering on procurement improvements
