We are looking for an experienced Requirements Engineer with a strong background in regulatory reporting within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate combines solid regulatory domain knowledge (EMIR, MiFID/MiFIR, AMLD5, country-specific reporting) with strong data analysis and specification skills, and is comfortable acting as a bridge between business, compliance, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate business, compliance, and regulatory requirements into clear, structured, and implementable functional and technical specifications.
• Document reporting logic, data transformations, and field-level requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines.
• Lead data mapping activities between source systems and regulatory reporting schemas (XML, JSON, CSV, proprietary formats).
• Prototype regulatory report outputs using SQL and Python to validate reporting logic and identify data gaps.
