Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing a safe and clean living and learning environment for students, staff and University guests by responding to the daily cleaning and maintenance of housing facilities with a focus on sustainability and customer services.

Responsibilities

• Keep residential living, learning, and dining environments clean and safe using “green” practices
• Clean hall and room carpet and hard surface floors in residential living, learning, and dining environments by vacuuming, shampooing, sweeping, mopping, etc.
• Clean around outside of buildings by picking up trash, sweeping, removing gum, washing sidewalks and snow/ice removal.
• Dispose of trash/recyclables from internal/external receptacles
• Perform minor maintenance including but not limited to replacing lamps, minor painting, carpet trimming and drain cleaning.
