The Building Services Engineer (BSE) is responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across Hard and Soft FM systems, ensuring high availability and statutory compliance of FM-controlled assets.
The role spans electrical, mechanical and specialist systems including, but not limited to: Building Management Systems (BMS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), fire detection and suppression, emergency lighting, closed-circuit television (CCTV), access control, water hygiene and legionella control, and critical HVAC/mechanical plant.
The BSE will act as an Authorised Person (AP) under JSP and within Systems of Work , exercising permit-to-work control, isolations and handover, and ensuring that all work is completed safely and to specification.
