Job Description
Pulaski County Public Safety is seeking to fill a full-time Chief of EMS position. The Chief of EMS will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership for all EMS‑related activities in the department, including prehospital care, policy development, mass casualty preparedness, personnel development, and education, while ensuring compliance with state and national standards. The successful candidate will be an accomplished paramedic leader committed to clinical excellence, innovation in EMS service delivery, and the overall organizational management of Pulaski County Public Safety. This position supervises all Public Safety (EMS) departmental staff, manages agency operations, and reports to the County Administrator (or designee).
Important Note: Employment will commence at the full salary; however, the title of Chief will not be conferred until a full transition period with the current Chief has been completed.
