Job Title: Building Engineer
Job Summary
The Building Engineer oversees the daily operations and maintenance of a commercial property. This role requires a blend of hands‑on technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and vendor management to ensure an optimal environment for employees.
Core Responsibilities
1. Systems Operations & Maintenance
HVAC & Climate Control: Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to maintain comfortable indoor climates.
Electrical & Plumbing: Inspect and repair electrical panels, lighting systems, backup generators, pumps, piping, and water fixtures.
Automation Systems: Operate and program Building Automation Systems (BAS) or Energy Management Systems (EMS) to optimize utility usage.
