Job Description
Boilermaker
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a well established rail maintenance and fabrication workshop based in Wollongong. This is a day shift role with an immediate start available.
About the role
- Workshop based boilermaking and fabrication duties
- MIG welding as a core requirement
- Fabrication and maintenance of rail machinery components
- Reading drawings and completing jobs to specification
- Working independently and as part of a small workshop team
Skills and experience
- Trade qualification preferred but not essential
- Strong MIG welding experience required
- Backgrounds considered include Boilermaker, Sheet Metal Tradesperson or 2nd Class Welder
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Reliable, safety focused and able to work to deadlines
