The Underground Boilermaker is accountable for the safe execution of assigned maintenance, repair, construction, and fabrication on underground and surface shaft infrastructure, ground handling systems and conveyances and winders. The incumbent is required to execute all assigned tasks in accordance with defined operational safety standards and procedures to ensure the optimised availability of engineering equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Recognized Boilermaker Trade Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a shaft maintenance or construction boilermaker
