Become a Blaster at SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan. Focus on safe explosives loading while supporting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Mine Operations, this role requires skilled individuals with experience in long hole blasting. You will be responsible for handling explosives and coordinating safety measures to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate possesses excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, along with the ability to lift moderate weights and follow precise safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform loading of explosives in designated blast holes
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and protocols
• Complete pre-op inspections on all equipment
• Operate equipment safely and conduct risk assessments
• Engage in housekeeping to maintain safe work areas
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of relevant blasting experience
• Completed Grade 12 education
