Job Description
You will report to the V.P. of the Quarry Division or the V.P. of the Civil Engineering Division.
Salary : According to CCQ (Quebec Construction Commission) rates.
- Blasting operations on various construction sites across Quebec;
- Blasting in urban environments with nearby buildings;
- Blasting using blasting mats;
- Lead and execute blasting operations;
- Complete and submit operation reports;
- Follow safe work practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3–5 years of blasting experience;
- Hold a valid general explosives permit.
SKILLS
- You have a valid driver’s license;
- You have good physical strength;
- You are dynamic and energetic;
- You are resourceful and autonomous;
- You are reliable and responsible;
- You are a team player and respectful of others.
