Role

and Responsibilities
  • Analyze the injury biomechanics and causal factors in cases involving: slips, trips and falls on stairways and walkway surfaces
    motor vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian impacts
    sports and workplace accidents
    consumer product failures
    assaults and firearms

  • Gather field data and inspect locations associated with injury events (e.g., stairs, walkways, amusement rides, damaged vehicle interiors, etc.)

  • Review supporting documents including video, medical records, witness statements, traffic collision reports, and deposition transcripts

  • Review and apply findings from the scientific literature

  • Document scientific findings and conclusions
  • Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate engineering degree

  • Graduate degree in biomechanics or a related discipline
