Position Details
Biologist/Avian Bird Sweeper – Seasonal, Part-Time (temporary position from June - September 2026).
Compensation: $30-34/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement breeding bird and nest surveys across Manitoba.
- Act as contractor liaison.
- Prepare summaries of results in letter reports.
- Complete fieldwork in other disciplines as needed.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in biology or Avian Bird Sweeper certification.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in Excel.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and Driver’s abstract.
- Ability to work alone in remote areas across Manitoba.
