Some roles are about helping children keep up. This one is about helping a child feel safe enough to take part in the first place.

A welcoming primary school is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil currently in Year 3, moving into Year 4 in September.

The child has complex behavioural and SEMH needs and spends much of the school day working outside of the classroom. Success in this role isn't measured by ticking off a timetable, it's built through patience, consistency, and the ability to stay calm when things don't go to plan.

The school would love someone to begin in September, although there is an opportunity to start before the summer holidays to support a smooth transition and begin building that all-important relationship.
