Behaviour Support Assistant – Chatham
Full‑time, £95 – £100 per day. September start, temp‑to‑perm. We are recruiting an engaging Behaviour Support Assistant for primary schools in the Chatham area.
Overview
As part of this role you will receive ongoing training in behaviour management and targeted CPD tailored to the children you support. We work with schools that have a high level of need within SEN and offer the chance to make a significant impact on vulnerable children’s lives.
Role
- Work primarily with children with SEN on a 1:1 or small‑group basis.
- Support children with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and behavioural challenges.
- Assess students’ progress and discuss development with teachers, parents/caregivers, and external agencies.
- Undertake CPD when required, and work toward accreditation.
