Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake bread, buns, pastries and other baked products according to company recipes.
- Measure, mix, proof, shape and bake dough while maintaining consistent quality.
- Monitor baking temperatures and product appearance to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery, equipment and work area.
- Check ingredient inventory and report shortages.
- Follow food safety and workplace safety regulations.
- Assist in developing seasonal or new bakery products when required.
- Support daily bakery operations and work closely with the kitchen team.
- Able to prepare a variety of breads and baked products independently.
- Knowledge of dough fermentation, baking techniques and food hygiene practices.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
