Responsibilities
- Perform process engineering on backend processes (encapsulation, metal can sealing/welding, tape and reel, final visual inspection)
- Process optimizations and process/material qualifications
- Review and revise manufacturing documentation
- Qualify operators, new machines, new processes
- Improve yield and COQ
- Investigate production line issues, drive resolution and corrective actions
- Provide disposition on non-conforming products/materials
- Provide in-depth analysis on process issues, especially for encapsulation and related material interactions, and deliver effective resolutions.
Requirements
- BS in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
