Back End Engineer (SQL + Batch Processing)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services integrated with SQL Server.
• Design and support batch processing workflows to handle large‑scale data updates and synchronization.
• Improve reliability across API, batch processing, and SQL layers, including retries, reprocessing, failure handling, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot production issues spanning API batch processing SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Experience building REST APIs in a backend environment.
• Experience with batch processing, background jobs, scheduled workflows, or bulk data processing.
• Strong SQL skills, including queries, stored procedures, and performance awareness.

Desired Skills

• Experience with C# / .NET and SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, or DevOps-related tooling.
