Overview

Leads a team executing core accounting operations; owns the close process and ensures journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules are accurate. Maintains consistent application of internal controls and drives timely remediation of findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities for assigned processes or entities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Directly manage, coach, and develop accounting staff.
• Own execution of key internal controls and enforce consistent application.
• Demonstrate effective team leadership by managing individual and team performance, coaching employees, and fostering engagement to ensure consistent execution and delivery.
