Job Description
TEKsystems is seeking AV Installation Technicians for a short-term, two-day project in Madison, WI. This is an onsite assignment taking place on July 20th and 21st supporting the installation and upgrade of audiovisual systems across multiple conference and presentation rooms.
This role is ideal for technicians with experience in low-voltage cabling, AV installations, structured cabling, or technology deployments who are comfortable working from floor plans and installation documentation.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide on-site support for AV room installations and upgrades
+ Pull and route UTP and coax cabling according to project specifications
+ Terminate UTP and coax cabling
+ Install Crestron NVX units at designated monitors and projectors
+ Disconnect existing rack equipment and reconnect devices to new rack installations
+ Follow AV design documentation, floor plans, and installation standards
