Propak Systems Ltd. is on the lookout for an Automation Specialist to bolster our Electrical Engineering Department in Airdrie, AB. This role involves programming, configuration, and support within the oil and gas industry.
We are seeking two full-time Automation Specialists with a strong engineering background. Candidates will engage in advanced control system tasks, collaborate on programming standards, and communicate effectively with team leads. Your expertise will directly contribute to project success while ensuring top-notch safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Program PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, and DCS/SCADA systems
• Develop and maintain automation programming templates
• Commission control systems in North America and internationally
• Troubleshoot and calibrate electrical equipment
• Conduct Factory Approval Tests on equipment
